ClearPay™ Corp. (“ClearPay™”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your information. This privacy policy describes the information practices of ClearPay™. By using the website (“Site”), including any subscription based features or services offered by ClearPay™ through the Site, you are agreeing to terms of the privacy policy.
What Information Do We Collect?
ClearPay™ may collect personal information to provide visitors with a customized and efficient experience on the Site. Collecting personal information allows us to provide you content and services that are most likely to meet your needs. “Personally identifiable information” means any information that identifies you personally, including, but not limited to, your name, e-mail address, password, login ID and other contact information that you voluntarily submit to us. ClearPay™ asks for and maintains the personally identifiable information of its visitors and customers to create tailored experiences on the Site and deliver certain services or information to you. ClearPay™’s marketing team may communicate with you based on your activity on the Site, however the information will be customer focused, not prospect-based. Visitors to the Site can also choose not to enter any personally identifiable information.
When purchasing the service, ClearPay™ requires you to provide us with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the service.
How Do We Use Your Information?
ClearPay™ uses your personally identifiable information to perform the services our visitors and customers request. For example, if you were to complete a “Contact Me” form, ClearPay™ would use the information you provided to contact you. ClearPay™ uses credit card information solely to check the financial qualifications of prospective customers and to collect payment for our service.
The Site may track information that will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and will not contain your personally identifiable information. Examples of the information we track include the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, browser type and IP Addresses. ClearPay™ may analyze this data for trends and statistics, and we may use such information to administer the Site, track users’ movements, and gather broad demographic information for collective use.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
ClearPay™ uses robust security measures to protect personally identifiable information from unauthorized access. Our Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) technologies help ensure that Customer Data is safe, secure, and only available to the customer with granted access to whom the information belongs to. ClearPay™ hosts its Site in a secure server environment that uses firewalls and other advanced technology to prevent interference. ClearPay™ also offers enhanced security features within the service that permit users to customize their own security settings.
Cookies
“Cookies” are small text files placed on your hard drive that allow ClearPay™ to remember you as a visitor. The cookies ClearPay™ places on your hard drive are only readable by ClearPay™ and cannot access, read or modify any other data on a computer. Cookies do not personally identify visitors; they simply recognize a web browser. If a visitor refuses a ClearPay™ cookie, then we will not gather any information on that visitor, nor customize their experience on the Site.
Cookies can be deleted manually from your hard drive. The “Help” portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies.
Web Beacons
ClearPay™ uses Web beacons in conjunction with cookies to let us know what parts of our Site are of interest to our visitors, which helps us provide a tailored experience. If you turn off cookies, Web beacons will still detect anonymous visits but are not associated with any other anonymous information or personally identifiable information. As an example, ClearPay™ may place Web beacons in marketing emails that notify us when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of our Site’s pages.
IP Addresses
When you visit ClearPay™, we track your IP Address to track non-personally identifiable information to monitor regions. We also collect IP Addresses from our customers when they login to the service as part of our “Identity Confirmation” and “IP Range Restrictions” security features.
Opt-Out
We provide you with the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used by ClearPay™. If you no longer wish to receive our promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each communication piece or by emailing us at service@clearpaycanada.com.
Customer Data
ClearPay™ will not review, share, distribute or reference any customer data except as provided in the Master Subscription Agreement or as required by law. Individual records may be viewed only for resolving problems, support issues or suspected violation of the Master Subscription Agreement. Customers are responsible for maintaining their security and confidentiality in usernames and passwords.
Children’s Privacy
The Site and services made available through ClearPay™ are not intended for children under the age of 13. ClearPay™ does not knowingly contact or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that we have mistakenly or unintentionally collected such information through our Site, please notify us by contacting service@clearpaycanada.com so that we can immediately delete the information from our servers.
Third Party Sites
From time-to-time, ClearPay™ engages third parties to track and analyze non-personally identifiable usage and volume statistical information from individuals who visit the company’s Site. ClearPay™ may also use other third-party cookies to track the performance of company advertisements. The information provided to third parties does not include personal information, but this information may be re-associated with personal information after the company receives it. This privacy statement does not cover the use of third party cookies. ClearPay™ does not share, sell, rent or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for promotional uses. ClearPay™ uses a third party intermediary to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is not permitted to store, retain or use billing information beyond processing on ClearPay™’s behalf.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
ClearPay™ reserves the right to change this privacy policy. ClearPay™ will provide notification of the material changes to this privacy policy through the company’s Site at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.
